01
The agreement
Using the site, or opening a workspace, means you agree to these terms. If you do it for a company, you confirm that you can bind the company. The company is then the customer.
02
The products
The status on the site is the maturity of that layer. Preview and pilot software can change, lose data, or stop.
GATEWAYLive. One OpenAI-compatible API, routing, fallback, cache, and per-team budgets.
BOXBeta. An agent builder. Deployment can sit in your cloud.
GUARDPilots. Policy checks on model calls: PII, secrets, document leakage, prompt injection.
HARNESSR&D preview. The runtime for plan/act loops, tools, memory, skills, and sandboxes.
WORLDResearch. Papers and model releases carry the license printed on the release.
03
Accounts and keys
You are responsible for the workspace, the people you invite, and the keys you issue. A key is a credential. Tell us at security@ylemlabs.com if one leaks. We can revoke a key to contain an incident, and we will say which key and why once the revocation is in.
04
Acceptable use
You will not use the products to:
- break the law, or infringe someone else's rights
- send malware, or test a system you do not have permission to test
- probe, scan, or overload our control plane
- turn off Guard, or hide a policy bypass, on a workspace you do not administer
- train a model on personal data you have no right to use
We can suspend a workspace that does this. We tell the owner unless the notice would make the harm worse. The security page is the path for a good-faith report about our own products.
05
Your content
You keep your rights in the prompts, documents, tool outputs, and policies you upload. You grant us a license to host, transmit, cache, and display that content only to run the product for you. The license ends when the content is deleted, except for a copy a legal hold or a bill still requires.
Retention windows are on the privacy page. We do not train World models on customer content unless a written agreement says so.
06
Model providers
A call Gateway sends to a third-party model is also subject to that provider's terms. You pick routes your own obligations allow. Guard policies attached to the key run before the provider sees the payload.
07
Our intellectual property
The products, this site, the Guard model, and World releases we have not placed under another license stay ours. These terms do not give you the Harness source, the Guard weights, or the right to resell the API. You may link to public pages. Feedback you send us we may use in the product, with no fee owed.
08
Fees
Paid use is billed as the order form says. Gateway usage is metered. A team budget stops calls when the cap is hit. Taxes are extra. An unpaid amount can pause the workspace after notice. Beta, pilot, and R&D preview access can be free, and free access ends when that program ends.
09
Preview software
Beta, pilot, and R&D preview layers are for evaluation. They can drop a run, change shape, or be withdrawn. A regulated workload belongs on a layer the order form marks as ready for it.
10
Warranties
The live Gateway service will do what its docs describe, in all material respects. Beyond that, the site and the products are provided as available. A model you route to can be wrong. Guard can miss a secret or an injection. You review outputs before they drive a consequential action.
11
Liability
Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits. Our total liability in a contract year is the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you paid nothing. The cap does not cover your duty to pay, misuse of the other side's intellectual property, or a liability the law does not let us limit.
12
Closing a workspace
You can close a workspace at any time. We can suspend it for non-payment, for a breach of these terms, or to contain a security incident. On closure, customer content follows the privacy-page schedule, and billing records stay for the period stated there.
13
Governing law
California law governs these terms, without its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts in San Francisco County hear disputes. Either side can still seek an injunction for misuse of intellectual property in a court that has jurisdiction. If you are a consumer and the law of your country requires that law, it still applies to you.
